Chromolithograph of Boy Sharing Food with Newfoundland Dog

  • The colors are dark and rich in this late 1800's chromolithograph. It shows a young child sharing his food with his Newfoundland dog. Near the bottom is "© Caldwell & Co. Publishers, NY." The publisher was in business in the late 1800's. In addition is "Copyright Secured." I don't see an artist's name.

It is in a carved criss cross frame with leaves attached at each corner. It has old glass, a wood backing, with a wire for hanging.

Size: The frame measures approximately 15" tall and 19" wide. The opening in the back measures approximately 10" by 14".
