Stinson Chromolithograph of Cant You Talk

  • The colors are dark and rich in this glossy chromolithograph titled at the bottom center "Can't You Talk." A young child is crawling toward a Collie dog with a cat or kitten watching from a safe distance. At the lower left, and a little difficult to photograph, is "Published by George Stinson & Co, Portland Maine." At the lower right is "Copyright George Stinson & Co. 1879."

    It is in a brown and black Eastlake style frame with old glass, a wood backing, and a wire for hanging.

    Size: The frame measures approximately 15 5/8" tall and 11 5/8" wide. The opening in the back measures approximately 14" by 10".
